We Broke Our Promise to ‘Remember Them’

We Broke Our Promise to ‘Remember Them’

James Brown, a Military Associate at the Lowy Institute, served in Iraq and Afghanistan. In today’s Sydney Morning Herald he writes an excellent article titled On the 11th Remember the Living in which he rightfully points out how little this country does for todays men and women in uniform, especially those who return from war wounded either [...]

Remember This

Remember This

Today is Remembrance Day, during which we remember our fallen soldiers. But today our enemy is within. We fought many wars over many years to protect this country, only now to have it destroyed by our government.

Regrouped and Full of Fire

Regrouped and Full of Fire

It has been more than 48 hours since some flea-brain clown, who I suspect fancies himself as a webpage designer of some renown but in reality is a struggling moron, ‘downed’ our web page. Well, good luck to the boof-head; it has given me time to re-group and consolidate my thoughts to re-launch  my attack [...]

We Were Hacked!

We Were Hacked!

Had Enough! was sabotaged on Monday night, which occurred, coincidentally, just prior to the passing of the Carbon Tax bill in parliament. But we are back from the dead and soon to be bigger and better than ever. Late Monday night hackers managed to break into the Had Enough! server and delete the database file which contains all posts and [...]

Tell us how you bite back!

Tell us how you bite back!

Have you got a story about how you got back at the government? Are you a cabbie who refused to take them, or a restaurateur who refused to feed one? We want to hear from you. Photos are more than welcome.

Petition

Petition to get them out!

Had Enough! of this government ? Sign the petition to remove them. We want more than a million signatures, which I will deliver to the offices of the Governor General, the independents, Labor leaders (who are already starting to speak out about the party direction) and of course, Julia herself. Please tell your friends. Spread [...]

A Question of Gillard’s Credibility

Perhaps I’m just an aging cynic, but I note that Madam Julia is throwing a few jabs and the odd left hook at her Green comrades of late. I’m now questioning just how real this is? Gillard knows only too well that her relationship with The Greens is the cause of much angst with the [...]

The New Style Labor Compassion

Our politicians are clearly not living on planet Earth, but planet ‘Deaf, Blind and Stupid’ on the outer rim of the Cloud Cuckoo Land Galaxy. Late last year, there was a call from the Australian Council of Social Services for an increase in the amount paid to recipients of the Newstart Allowance (http://www.ncoss.org.au/content/view/5853/100/) . The [...]

China Goes the Half Rasher of Bacon on CO2 Emissions

In a bid to placate the Climate Change Gods, China has announced they will be introducing a Carbon Dioxide Tax by the end of 2015. As expected, the Gillard government (deliberate small “g”) has leapt on this declaring it gives lie to the opposition’s claim that the rest of the world is not acting to [...]

Liberals Erode Self Funded Retirees

The Coalition has to have rocks in their heads by threatening to repeal any increases in the Guaranteed Superannuation Levee, intended by the Government to rise to 15% by 2014. Apart from being a vote loser, this flies in the face of common sense and good economic management. While I am unquestionably anti-Labor, and can find [...]

Government Attempts to Create Saints on the Battlefield

Some times its hard to know whether to have a good belly laugh or to weep tears of blood when one reads some of the naive comments from people who are supposedly intelligent and in positions of high office. Today I note that the Australian Human Rights Commission tabled its report on the review of the [...]

Abbott’s Performance Proves Questionable

As a staunch and committed Liberal I must say Tony Abbott is, to me, demonstrating a disturbing and growing weakness that makes me question whether he is the one to take this nation forward. I give Tony full marks for his relentless tenacity in pursuing Gillard and continuously exposing her gross incompetence, weakness and negligence. [...]

Government Declares War on Qantas

Nick Xenophon and the Greens need their individual and collective heads read for wanting to hog-tie Qantas by severely restricting its right to manage its business in the best interests of its owners - the investing shareholders. If this gets up, they will have a lot of answering to do to the Australian public, as such [...]
